We are an owner-managed development, production, sales and consulting company for assertive and targeted microorganism complexes on a natural basis, which are mainly stabilized in a liquid mileu and thus made usable for various purposes.

We maintain a network of international partners to ensure that we continuously support each other locally in sales and advice. The production plant for stock solutions / original solutions and finished products with effective microorganisms is deliberately managed in Germany as a manufacture under high quality standards. We are growing nationally, internationally and across the full breadth of our range. We differentiate ourselves transparently in the premium area with a purely natural manufacturing concept.

Natural processes as our role model

MikroVeda GmbH was founded in 2003 by Gabriele Freitag-Lau and Kurt Walter Lau. Previously, the participants had undergone several years of qualification with relevant international partners from research and development, so that MikroVeda has been able to set its own standards in the fermentation technology for effective microorganisms. The natural process obliges us to manufacture. We work with non-genetically modified effective microorganisms that originally occur in the wild and only use organic, certified organic raw materials. We consciously forego the use of cheaper, freeze-dried organic cultures and attach great importance to the fact that we start all productions with living and highly active cultures right from the start in order to guarantee the consistently high MikroVeda quality for our customers. Ultimately, holistic work with living multi-biocultures is always a special challenge, which requires broad technological know-how, manual experience and close controls in order to achieve first-class results on a regular basis.

Relevant international technology partners

MikroVeda as an expert in fermentation technology around Effective Microorganisms also invests in its own research laboratory and bacteria bank and cooperates with relevant international partners for research, development and other laboratories in order to participate in the latest research and development findings. This enables us to incorporate over 30 years of Effective Microorganisms research into our product development. Therefore MikroVeda is one of the few companies worldwide which is able to independently produce stock solutions/solutions with active and stable multi-biocultures as starters for probiotic-fermentative processes on a purely natural basis, tailored to the respective environment.

Naturally sustainable

MikroVeda uses electricity from 100 percent renewable energy sources (Greenpeace Energy), produce electricity itself via its own solar power system and heat production, storage and administration buildings with a wood pelletplant without tropical wood. We filter the waste water and wash water (gray water) through our own near-natural plant sewage treatment plant (root canal disposal also through our MicroVeda-Effective Microorganisms).

Certified manufacturer

As a German producer of Effective Microorganisms, professional quality and hygiene control (HACCP) is ensured in production, filling and dispatch. All ingredients of the preparations from own production and with MikroVeda Effective Microorganisms (DE-Öko-037) are controlled and certified by Ökop-Zertifizierungs GmbH, Straubing. According to the EU Regulation and the Organic Implementation Regulation, the preparations for agriculture and horticulture are also approved for organic farming. The soil and plant preparations as well as the supplementary feeds for farm animals are also listed in the farm equipment list of the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBl) Germany, Frankfurt/M.

Ecological country estate of the MikroVeda Group

On the Neuenhof estate, the headquarters of MikroVeda, ecological grassland farming with orchards and vegetable cultivation (Öko-Betriebskennziffer: DE-Öko-037) is carried out, which is also used for further research and several years of development of micro-organism preparations and contributes important knowledge for this purpose.
